SAFETY FIRST AT LORIENT
On 6th - 10th January, Lorient hosted its first Safety Week at Endeavour House, Newton Abbot. The aim of Safety Week is to highlight the importance of health and safety across all areas of the business including a review of our current safety performance and achievements over the last 12 months; and to identify our key safety resolutions for 2020.
A number of workshops were undertaken throughout the week including hazard spotting in the work area; viewing indicative fire tests; a safety focus vote; culminating in everyone signing the Safety Commitment board at the end of the week with pizza!
The 3 safety behaviour resolutions we committed to focus on at Lorient throughout 2020 are:
- Working together
- Take responsibility for your own actions
- Dare to question and stop unsafe behaviours
