Lorient scoops coveted Customer Service award at IAI AGM

Every year the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI) presents four highly regarded awards at the glittering IAI Annual General Meeting and Dinner. The awards acknowledge an individual or team’s outstanding contribution to the Institute or the industry; these include: the Fellowship Award, Paul Lewis Award for Customer Service, GAI Award for Services to the Institute and Promising Ironmonger of the Year.

This year the Lorient team has scooped the coveted Paul Lewis Trophy Award, which recognises a team’s outstanding commitment to customer service throughout the past year.

Maria Powell, Lorient MD said “I’m absolutely thrilled and so proud to have won the prestigious Paul Lewis Customer Service award at this year’s IAI AGM. This accolade really is a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone throughout the Lorient Group. As a company we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and are always looking at ways in which we can enhance what we do. I would personally like to congratulate the entire Team Lorient for their dedication and continued hard work”.

Voting is open to all IAI members and is undertaken via a dedicated micro site, to ensure transparency and impartiality. The award is sponsored by Royde & Tucker in the name of the late Paul Lewis, who not only was a Fellow of the Institute, but was respected by all in the industry for his customer focus and admiration of good service.
