Every other year the Guild of Architectural Ironmongery (GAI) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) come together to identify and reward excellence in the specification of architectural ironmongery at the Specification Awards. This year, Tung Fat Ho was awarded International Winner (sponsored by Samuel Heath) for their project: the Hong Kong Velodrome (HKV). March 2015.
On Friday 13th March - Red Nose Day, the Lorient team took part in a sponsored Bike-a-thon; to help raise money for a very worthwhile cause - Comic Relief! Throughout the day, members of the Lorient team kept an exercise bike running, each completing 15 minute time slots. March 2015.
Every year the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI) presents four highly regarded awards at the glittering IAI Annual General Meeting and Dinner. This year the Lorient team has scooped the coveted Paul Lewis Trophy Award, which recognises a team’s outstanding commitment to customer service throughout the past year. February 2015.
