Lorient’s debut at Ecobuild a storming success
One magazine editor has described Ecobuild 2012 as the ‘UK show of shows’, and we wholeheartedly agree. The exhibition floor lived up to its promise as the biggest showcase of sustainable construction products in the world, with more than 1,600 suppliers and an almost inexhaustible list of new and innovative products for the construction industry.
Our impressive stand featured new product innovations, as well as fascinating animations and videos which helped to capture interest from hundreds of visitors. Under the banner ‘Energy Driven Innovation’ we showcased two new glazing products: RF1 and System-36 PLUS which were very well received. Exploded animations on iPads brought products to life and our virtual tour around a building, clearly demonstrated where Lorient products are installed and how they protect lives and the built environment.
For the first time we also unveiled the results of an acoustic camera – which proved extremely popular. It dramatically displayed visually the difference between an unsealed door and a sealed door in an array of colours. A traffic stopper!
Maria Simmonds, Managing Director said: “Ecobuild 2012 seemed to generate a wonderful positivity and optimism that the construction industry badly needs. It was a pleasure to share our innovation and energy in such a splendid location and the reaction to our new products was outstanding. A total success!”
Our friendly and energetic Lorient team welcomed familiar faces on to the stand, and we were delighted to meet so many new contacts too. We documented the exhibition on Twitter, so please follow us to access all our tweets throughout the event and beyond.
Thanks to all who came to visit our stand and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! If you were unable to come along to ExCeL but are interested in what we showcased, please contact us and we’ll be pleased to share it with you.
