17/05/2010 Lorient is at the Passive Fire Protection, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 Breakfast Seminar – 25th May, London
Leading door seal manufacturer Lorient is delivering an informative seminar in London, as part of the Passive Fire Protection event. The seminar entitled “The way things are supposed to work” covers the role of fire doors, and Sarah Lewis our Specifications Manager is the guest speaker for the section on intumescent seals.
Seminars throughout the morning cover: what Building Control is looking for under the Building Regulations; the fire service and the RRSFO; and the role of fire doors.
Chaired by Sir Ken Knight, the UK's Chief Fire and Rescue Adviser, this event will be held as a breakfast seminar at the Building Centre, Store Street, London on May 25th 2010, starting at 8.15 am.
The event is aimed at all those responsible for specifying fire protection measures or conducting fire risk assessments in buildings covered by the RRO, such as architects, specifiers, facility managers, local authority and housing association officers, registered landlords and hoteliers.
