- Perimeter seal: IS1212 Batwing® (alternative: IS1212K). Other sizes are available to suit door stop sizes
- Threshold seal: IS8010 si in both leaves (alternative: IS8005 si)
- Meeting stile seal: IS7061 on one leaf (please note, a door selector should be used. Seal should be installed on the leaf that closes last.)
- Acoustic performance: 37dB Rw
Please note: The seal solution shown here has been tested with specialist acoustic unglazed doors from Hazlins of Ludlow. Please refer to the Acoustic Sealing Systems for Door Assemblies Brochure for further information.
Recommended products to complete this solution:
- Integrity™ Threshold Plates & Ramps - to ensure a firm and continuous seal at the threshold
- IS9050 and IS9070 Finger Guard seals - to protect small fingers by covering the gaps at the hinge stile on both sides of the door
- Door Edge Protectors - to repair damaged door edges, or protect new doors from damage in high traffic areas.
- System-36 glazing system - to ensure any glazed panels are held firmly in place. (You may find our FAQ on adding glazing panels into a door for acoustic performance helpful)
These are our typical recommended solutions, to cover the majority of installations.
